Maths for early years
Concrete/Pictorial Multiplication Arrays and Groupings with Oracy
multiple worksheets (x15) encourages pupils to annonate representations.
Arrays - 2 multiplication sentences, colour coded to look vertically and horizontally.
Groupings using sentence stems.
Extension- encourage to make associated division link
For each worksheet chn should be encouraged to annonate with arrows and jottings on the pics ( 2,4,6,8,10). This will help to solve problems at a later stage.
Class tracking grid - attainment and progress tracking from baseline
A one page document for CT to complete and keep a track of progress and attainment across one academic year - linking back to EYFS/KS1 data. Can be adapted for all years.
